IMAGIO participated in the European Commission’s #EUHPP Live Webinar on “Cancer Mission Diagnosis and Treatment (Refractory Cancers and Diagnostics) Cluster Policy Webinar” held on 3 November 2025. The event brought together a wide range of EU-funded projects under the Cancer Mission to discuss progress, synergies, and policy implications for improving cancer diagnosis and treatment across Europe.
During the session, Robert Hofsink, IMAGIO Project Coordinator, took part in the first panel on Treatment Optimisation, where he presented IMAGIO’s work and vision. He highlighted the project’s efforts to advance treatment pathways in liver, lung, and sarcoma cancers, illustrating how IMAGIO contributes to improving interventional oncology and patient outcomes within the broader framework of treatment optimisation.
Robert’s participation not only served to disseminate IMAGIO’s objectives and results but also provided an opportunity to learn from other initiatives within the Cancer Mission, including Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), the European Innovation Council (EIC), and various other collaborative projects working on cancer diagnostics and refractory cancers. This exchange fostered valuable dialogue among projects, strengthening collaboration and knowledge sharing within the cluster. IMAGIO will continue to engage with these initiatives, building on shared experiences to advance the common goal of optimising cancer diagnosis and treatment for patients across Europe.
